Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced and passive style of yoga that targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, in the body. It is characterized by long-held, relaxed poses that are mostly performed laying on the mat. Yin Yoga focuses on stillness and surrender, allowing the practitioner to access deeper layers of the body and mind. It teaches practitioners to breathe through mild discomfort and sit with their internal thoughts and emotions.
